Right of Withdrawal for Consumers
Important Notice: This right of withdrawal applies exclusively to consumers. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor their independent professional activity.
Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from an online purchase contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have or has taken possession of the goods.

by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post, fax, or email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract.
You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not mandatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Consequences of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
Return of Goods
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us.
The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.
You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
Cost Notice for Valuable Goods: For high-value products such as our Sarasvati audio furniture, significant return costs may arise. We recommend contacting us before withdrawal to optimally coordinate the return and avoid transport damage. Additionally, you must observe the restrictions on the right of withdrawal for products manufactured for you.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
Exclusion or Early Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal
Important: Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not exist or expires for the following contracts:
- Custom-Made Products: For the delivery of goods that are not prefabricated and for whose manufacture an individual selection or determination by the consumer is decisive or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer (Art. 40a Para. 1 lit. c OR).
- Sealed Goods: For the delivery of sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons if their seal has been removed after delivery.
- Audio and Video Recordings: For the delivery of audio or video recordings or computer software in a sealed package if the seal has been removed after delivery.
Specifics for Sarasvati Audio Furniture
Individually Manufactured Products: Our Sarasvati audio furniture is manufactured according to your individual wishes and specifications. These are custom-made products for which, according to Art. 40a Para. 1 lit. c of the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR), no right of withdrawal exists.
This applies in particular when:
- You have chosen specific dimensions, colors, or materials
- The furniture has been configured according to your personal specifications
- Special audio components have been installed according to your wishes
- The product has been adapted to your spatial conditions
Important: Before order confirmation, we will explicitly inform you if no right of withdrawal exists for your selected product.
Early Performance of Services
The right of withdrawal expires for a contract for the provision of services if the trader has fully performed the service and has only begun to perform the service after the consumer has given his express consent and at the same time confirmed his knowledge that he will lose his right of withdrawal upon complete performance of the contract by the trader.

Special Notes for Swiss Customers
For contracts with customers in Switzerland, the following regulations under Swiss law also apply:
Right of Withdrawal According to OR
According to Art. 40a ff. OR, consumers in Switzerland generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts (such as online purchases). The above-mentioned exceptions (especially for custom-made products) apply accordingly.
Cost Distribution
The customer bears the direct costs of return, unless the goods do not correspond to the ordered goods or are defective.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Can I also withdraw by phone?
Yes, you can declare your withdrawal by phone. However, for evidentiary reasons, we recommend the written form (email, letter, or fax).
What happens to amounts already paid?
All payments already made will be refunded to you within 14 days of receipt of your withdrawal declaration.
Must I return the product in its original packaging?
Using the original packaging is not mandatory, but strongly recommended to avoid transport damage.
Can I test the product before withdrawal?
Yes, you may examine the goods as you would in a store. However, excessive use that goes beyond an examination may result in compensation for diminished value.
What applies to damaged goods?
If the goods were already damaged upon delivery, this is a defect. In this case, you have warranty rights and do not have to bear the costs of return.
